Our Mission and Philosophy
We believe that Rainbow Kidschool has to provide an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the whole child, in order to stimulate a love of learning. We believe that by encouraging children to respect others and the environment, they will discover that learning is a rewarding experience.
As a bridge between home and formal schooling, we offer a treasured early learning experience in an engaging, inclusive, social setting.

Licensing
- Rainbow Kidschool operates under the legal name of Carleton Preschool and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors whose members consist of both members of the child care center and the community.
- Rainbow Kidschool is a not-for profit, charitable child care center that receives funding from both the City of Ottawa and The Ministry of Education
- Rainbow Kidschool is proud to be part of the Canada Wide Early Learning Child Care Program (CWELCC) for children all under six years of age.
- We are licensed by The Ministry of Education (MOE) under the Child Care and Early Years Act.
The educators of Rainbow Kidschool are all registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
